Notes from Mike
Tastes like no other coffee i’ve tried. It smells a lot like the Catoctin Barrel Aged Coffee. The smell is not my favorite but the flavor of the coffee is good. It’s definitely unconventional. I think it’s good for a more special occasion coffee as I wouldn’t want it daily
Notes from the roaster: “A truly innovative coffee from the Solano family with over 4 generations of coffee experience. Using a 1:8 lactobacillus/water ration in tanks free of oxygen to enhance the presence of lactic bacteria, this coffee has beautiful dark fruit notes and a complexity unlike any other coffee we’ve tasted”
